This unique bottle is specifically designed for storage and drinking of ionized, alkaline water. Can be used for wine as well. Resists sunlight damage to liquid. Comes with black plastic cap. Made of Miron Violet Glass.

The appreciation people have for the special protective qualities of violet glass can be traced back to the heyday of ancient Egyptian civilization. Even then, valuable essences and healing natural products were kept in gold and violet glass containers. Even the alchemists during the middle ages, were aware of the special quality of the shimmering violet glass. The advancing industrialization and the emergence of new packaging materials meant that violet glass faded into obscurity during the last hundred years.

The composition, manufacturing and verification methods have significantly changed with the introduction of the first industrially produced MIRON violet glass in 1995. The glass is beautiful and very high quality.

The 1/2-Liter bottle comes in round or square, so please also specify which you would like under “Special Requests”. The price is the same no matter the number of etchings you choose or whether you choose round or square.
